A succession of over two glaciers becomes visible along the route. Chatru serves as the following camping site that stands beyond the Glacier.
- The journey to Hampta Pass provides separate stages from the ongoing trek along with the descent to Shea Goru. Shea Goru descent follows a challenging slope downward. The trail to reach Hampta Pass demands a moderate difficulty. You must stop for brief rest after reaching the summit point. By lunchtime, set your goal. After completing your lunch period the descending phase should start. From Balu Ka Ghera the path extends its course toward the mountain range. Watch out for the harmonious arrangement of yellow and pink flowers which meander along the river route. These scenic features will create an outstanding view throughout the path. Continue for an hour along the road beside the river. The trail is not very good, and it may disappear at times. So take care. Always stay with other trekkers and follow the guide's instructions. Avoid getting lost. The climb begins after an hour and is the first severe incline on the Hampta pass trek. The first plateau emerges after climbing for thirty minutes granting visibility to Deo Tibba peak. During early summer all areas become fully covered by snow. The mountain experiences little monthly snowfall throughout the seventh month cycle starting from July extending until June. Commence the following climb after taking a quick rest. The slope features two different areas which conclude at the ridge point. It requires twenty to thirty minutes to traverse from starting point to the summit of the ridge peak. From the top each direction forward remains visible. The Hampta Pass can be seen just around the bend from the top of the second ridge. Cross the first ridge several times through walking before descending to reach the second ridge. You will obtain a perfect panoramic shot because the mountains create a breathtaking view visible during every direction. Start ascending vertically for 20 minutes after your descent concludes. Several aspects of snow conditions determine the difficulty level of descent as it proves to be harder than ascent. Sliding stands as the best choice when descending paths covered with snow. After you reach the pass you should continue straight to view the Lahaul side. The right side of the mountain range should be your route of movement. Walking hazard exists because you must cross slippery rocks and soil during the traverse. The first downhill segment concludes within thirty minutes of journey time. The descent to reach below the pass requires a U-turn. Continue ahead on a descending path with your group members. Two options exist for traversing the zigzag path which will guide you swiftly toward the valley in a single and a half hours. All three sides of your view present mountains with snowy peaks that stretch into the distance. Shea Goru can be reached by following the simple trail path. Traveling to Shea Goru requires no tremendous effort. Walks to Shea Goru are straightforward but maybe draining for certain individuals. You can observe a river from your right side along the journey. Choose a campsite close to the river when you get there and rest.
