Brahmatal Trek Package Overview

Day 01 :

Drive from Kathgodam to base camp at Lohajung - 213 km long drive

Arrive early at the Kathgodam Railway Station to meet us. Depending on your schedule, you can also meet us at the Kathgodam Bus Stand.
We will then begin the scenic drive to Lohajung, where the base camp is set up. The drive will take up to 9 hours, with enough breaks in between.
You will be able to see the magnificent Nanda Ghunti peak for the first time as the road runs parallel to the rivers Kosi and Pindar. All the scenic hill stations along your journey including Almora and Kausani and other destinations will create a strong sense of curiosity about what is to come.
Upon arrival use your guesthouse or homestay accommodations before consuming the delectable meal prepared for you.

Day 02 :

Trek from Lohajung to Bekaltal - 8 km long trek

A succulent breakfast should be your first step before starting your journey to Bekaltal. The journey to Bekaltal requires 5 hours to finish while traveling a length of 7-8 kilometers.
The rocky terrain on this trail will follow maintained paths toward an elevating elevation.
The Kali Valley, with its splendid vistas, will keep you company through the trek. During the trek you will come across a long elevated bridge which reaches 8,500 feet in height and measures 10 meters end to end.
The Bekaltal provides refreshing crystal-clear waters after finishing the trek.
The destination provides the perfect spot to relax after touring the mountain trail and restoring your energy.

Day 03 :

From Bekaltal to Brahmatal - 7 km long trek

Render your first morning by witnessing the magnificent sunrise. After eating a wholesome breakfast you will undertake your Brahmatal trek that should last 5 to 6 hours.
You will encounter a steep rise followed by an even slope that leads to a gentle slope down to reach Brahmatal lake. The path leads through vegetation areas that include oak trees and rhododendrons.
The spectacular prospect of Telindi becomes visible only after completing the extended trek before achieving the lake. Observing the lake from afar remains impossible because it perfectly matches its natural setting while the entire lake becomes hidden beneath winter snow.
Arriving at the campsite first eat dinner and then proceed to your tents for sleeping.

Day 04 :

Trek to Daldun - 5-6 km long trek

Your first activity after breakfast will lead you to climb Brahmatal summit. During your journey you will cross by Bada Jhandidar before arriving at Chota Jhandidar. A ridge consisting of magnificent mountains extends on both sides of the trail while gentle slopes form the valleys.
It requires two and a half hours to reach the summit from the starting point. Once you reach the top you will remember forever the incredible panoramic view you experienced.
The walking trek which leads to Daldum starts from that location. The journey will move slowly across 2.7 kilometers and should take more than three hours to cover. You will walk through an area dominated by oak and rhododendron trees throughout this section.
After reaching Daldum you can enjoy your dinner followed by tent time for sleep.

Day 05 :

Trek back to Lohajung - 4 km long trek

The return process starts on day 5 with a comprehensive breakfast. Begin your day with a breakfast during the morning sunrise that will fulfill your appetite.
Travelers should easily follow the marked trails which lead to Lohajung. The way is cross sectioned by various gurgling streams.
As you make this return trip you will navigate through forests featuring both rhododendron and oak tree populations.
Return by car to Rishikesh.
